Medical Insurance Scheme For Retired Staff - Last date for receiving applications is 10.01.2016

MEDICAL INSURANCE SCHEME FOR RETIRED STAFF

As per 10th Bipartite Settlement/Joint Note dated 25-05-2015 we are switching over to new medical insurance scheme for retired staff in tie up with United India Insurance Co. Ltd.

*Last date for receiving the consent letter for joining New Medical Insurance Scheme for retired staff has been extended upto 10-01-2016 . Those pensioners who have earlier not opted for 'SIB Ashwas Plus' are also eligible to join the new Medical Insurance policy

Basic features of the policy:

Total annual premium

For Officers(retired) :Rs 6573/- + ST (14.5%)
For Award Staff retired): Rs 4930/- + ST (14.5%)

Insurance cover

For Officers (retired): Rs 4,00,000/-
For Award Staff (retired): Rs 3,00,000/-

Dependents

Dependents are not covered except spouse.

Preexisting illness

All preexisting illnesses are covered.

Recognized system of medicines

Reimbursement of expenses is available for following treatments: Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Unani, Sidha, Homeopathy & Naturopathy.

Following covers are not available in retirees medical insurance policy:

Maternity Expenses
Critical Illness Cover
Domiciliary Expenses
Dependents are not covered ( only retiree + Spouse)
Corporate Buffer Facility
