South Indian Bank bags Digital India Excellence Award 2017

South Indian Bank, one of the leading private sector Bank in India, has bagged Digital India Excellence Award 2017 for its innovation in mobile app ‘Digital e-lock’ in the 5th PAN-IIM World Management Awards 2017. Mr. Thomas Joseph K., EVP (Operations), on behalf of South Indian Bank received the award in a glittering function at IIM Lucknow. The award was presented by Sri.K. K Sharma, Secretary, MHRD, Justice Rajesh Tandon, Former Judge, Uttarakhand High Court in the presence of Prof. Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh

PAN-IIM World Management Conference is an annual event initiated by all the 20 Indian Institute of Management (IIM) which is supported by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India and Niti Aayog. The Awards segment has been instituted for the first time this year in its 5th edition under the banner ‘PAN-IIM World Digital Indian Excellence Awards’

Digital e-lock is a facility for locking individual accounts in SIB’s trendsetter banking app SIB Mirror+. The facility offers significant security in the digital environment. The award is a recognition for South Indian Bank’s initiative to offer best in class digital banking solutions.
