South Indian Bank Installs Plastic Bottle Recycling Machines at Kochi Metro

In order to promote green initiative at Kochi, South Indian Bank has joined hands with Kochi Metro to install 3 plastic bottle recycling machines at selected stations. The first machine was jointly inaugurated by Mr. V.G. Mathew, MD & CEO, South Indian Bank and Mr. Elias George, MD, Kochi Metro at Palarivattom Metro Station. The other stations where the machines are installed include Edapally & CUSAT.
The users who avail this facility will receive attractive discount coupons of selected brands which can be redeemed at their outlets. As the machines are installed at ticket-less entry areas, the facility can be used by non-commuters as well. South Indian Bank has installed these machines as a part of one of the several CSR programmes for promoting green initiatives, which envisage eliminating the plastic waste generated in the city.
