RuPay PaySecure

RuPay Paysecure™ is the online security facility that is being supported by NPCI to all RuPay cardholders for carrying out online transactions in a safe and secure manner. All South Indian Bank RuPay Debit cards can be used online for e-commerce transactions without any registration. In this simplified and secure payment method, there is no need to remember any password, image or phrase to carry out the e-commerce transactions.
 

Process:
Please find the below process flow for carrying out e-commerce transactions using South Indian Bank RuPay Debit cards.

  1. Enter the card credentials at the merchant website while carrying out the online e-commerce transactions.
  2. On clicking ‘Confirm’ or ‘Proceed’ after entering the card details, ACS will be displayed for entering the OTP for proceeding transaction in secure mode. You might have received the OTP on both mobile number and/or email id.
  3. After entering the 6-digit OTP (One Time Password) received, you may click the submit button. Once the RuPay PaySecure system validates the OTP (One Time Password) your transaction will be completed.

Points to Remember:

  1. Keep the OTP received during a transaction totally confidential and do not reveal it to any third party.
  2. Take necessary precautions to ensure that the computer or any other device accessing RuPay PaySecure for transactions is guarded from all unauthorized access.
  3. In case of non-receipt of OTP, kindly click on ‘Resend OTP’ button to receive the OTP again. The ‘Resend OTP’ button can be used only 3 times during a transaction and after the same the button will be disabled for that transaction.
  4. Entering OTP wrongly for 3 times will result in blocking of your ATM card for online transaction. To lift the block you may have to contact your SIB branch or Toll free centre of the bank.

What is PaySecure?
PaySecure is a payment service that allows you to use your South Indian Bank RuPay Debit card for online purchases. It uses a simplified and secure architecture offering additional security.
What if the card is lost?
If your debit Card is Lost, the card may be immediately blocked. You can block your card through digital channels of SIB Mirror +/SIBerNet/Whatsapp Banking/SIB Website. You may also call South Indian Bank Customer Care on 1800-102-9408 or 1800-425-1809 or SMS CARDBLOCK <16 digit card number> to 09840777222 from your registered mobile number to block the card.
What if my card is expired?
You will receive a new South Indian Bank Debit Card before the expiry of the Card. Please use the new Card to transact online after activating the card.  
What is CVD (Card Validation Data)?
It's a three digit number printed at the back of your RuPay Card, also referred to as CVV2.
How can I get my One Time Password (OTP)?
You will get it on your mobile number/email id that is registered with South Indian Bank. 
How long is the OTP valid?
OTP is valid for 5 minutes. 
What happens if the screen shows an error message after entering the OTP?
